gmp·冯·格康,玛格及合伙人建筑师事务所在无锡长三角一体化产学研合作园区建筑设计国际竞赛中的方案被评为唯一的优胜方案。项目位于无锡惠山区,落成后的园区将凭借信息技术学科优势助力惠山区积极融入太湖湾科技创新带建设。设计方案在尊重江南园林和水系文化的基础上,顺应未来教育模式,打造具有社交属性的、“产学研”相长的前瞻性合作园区。
The proposal by the architects von Gerkan, Marg and Partners (gmp) was named the only winning proposal in the international competition for an Industry-University-Research Cooperation Park in Wuxi. Located in Wuxi's Huishan District, this new campus will leverage the university’s strengths in information technology and contribute to Huishan’s integration into the Taihu Bay Scientific and Technological Innovation Belt. The design honors the rich cultural heritage of the local Jiangnan gardens and waterways while embracing future educational models, fostering social interaction, and strengthening collaboration between industry, academia, and research.

无锡位于太湖之畔,水系纵横交错。设计方案最大化保留了基地现有的水资源和自然植被,规划了具有江南特色的双水环。外环水系形成园区景观天然屏障,内部通过自然景观处理划分出不同的功能区域。园区环道借鉴了中国传统园林的“曲径”概念,与环形水系相叠加,串联起生活、学习、科研、运动等场景。
Wuxi, located on the shores of Taihu Lake, is known for its intricate network of waterways. The design preserves much of the site’s existing water resources and natural vegetation, reflecting the distinctive Jiangnan aesthetic. The outer water ring forms a natural landscape barrier, while the inner landscape divides the campus into various functional zones. Inspired by the meandering paths of traditional Chinese gardens, the campus loop intertwines with the water rings, seamlessly connecting spaces for living, learning, research, and sports.

兼顾场地自然条件,整体园区规划呈现出“三环两水”的格局。在**核心位置,规划了四座教研综合体,并在二、三层由环形裙楼相连接。这一环形设计打破了不同学院间泾渭分明的建筑格局,强调了跨学科交流与联系。四座综合体首层分别设有学生中心、实验中心、汇报中心和图书馆四个公共功能。
The master plan is organized around the concept of "three rings and two waterways", a layout that harmonizes with the site’s natural conditions. At the heart of the campus, four teaching and research complexes are linked by a circular podium extending across the second and third floors, enhancing interdisciplinary communication by connecting the otherwise separate college buildings. Each complex hosts a public facility on the ground floor, including a student center, a laboratory, an auditorium, and a library.

环形裙楼也具有高度的公共属性,这里设置了学院间可共享的教室、实验室等基础功能,与学院建筑交集处规划了四个公共交流中心,通过鼓励跨学科交流激发学生创造力。整个教研建筑群在室外围合出一个**庭院,多层错落的露台与**庭院形成立体花园,为学生提供逗留、聊天、阅读和放松的空间,起到了户外会客厅的作用。
The circular podium facilitates shared classrooms and laboratories, with four public exchange centers at the intersections, encouraging cross-disciplinary interaction and creativity. The entire teaching and research buildings forma central courtyard, with multi-level terraces creating a three-dimensional garden that serves as a social hub for students to relax, converse, read, and unwind.

生活、运动和办公等辅助功能安排在园区外环。主入口位于南侧,郁郁葱葱的林荫大道两侧矗立着会议中心、酒店和办公塔楼。学生宿舍镶嵌在园区西北和东南部绿意盎然的景观中。各个宿舍楼通过裙房和连桥相连接,提供了丰富的活动和自习空间,形成书院制组团体系,进一步促进日常生活交流。体育中心及体育场位于外环东南一角,体育中心内设游泳池和体育馆,最外圈的跑道连接各个区域的室外活动场地。
Supporting functions, such as residential, sports, and administrative facilities are arranged along the outer ring of the campus. The main entrance on the south side features a tree-lined avenue bordered by a conference center, a hotel, and an office tower. Student dormitories are nestled in the green landscapes of the northwest and southeast, connected by podiums and bridges that create ample spaces for activities and study, forming an academy-style cluster that encourages daily interaction. The sports center, located in the southeast corner of the outer ring, includes a swimming pool and a sports hall, with various outdoor activity areas connected by the outermost running track.

围绕水体造景的景观空间将内环的学研和外环的辅助功能连接起来。这里是学习和生活的缓冲区,促进学术讨论和休闲交流。园区倡导无车校园、绿色出行的理念。沿内圈环路计划设置无人驾驶低速小型穿梭巴士,园内任何位置距巴士站点距离不超过200米,为日常生活提供极大便利。
The landscape design, centered around the water system connects the academic research functions in the inner ring with the supporting functions in the outer ring. It acts as a transitional space for both learning and living, promoting academic discussions and exchanges. In line with the campus’s philosophy of a car-free environment and green mobility, the design includes plans for unmanned, low-speed shuttle buses along the inner loop, ensuring convenient access within a 200-meter radius from any point on campus.

With its people-centered approach, emphasis on Jiangnan's water town culture, and dedication to fostering communication and creativity, the Campus is set to provide an efficient and convenient environment for research collaboration in Wuxi’s Huishan District.
