未竣工的苍鹭大厦(Heron Tower)将创伦敦最高建筑纪录

中国网讯曾经游览伦敦的旅客肯定对伦敦金融城密密麻麻的高楼赞叹不绝。这不是因为这里的建筑名列世界高楼榜，只是因为周围没有多少高楼，因此特别引人注意。

不过，这种情况很快出现改变；伦敦金融城的最高大楼即将建成。

新建的苍鹭大厦(Heron Tower)鹤立鸡群，创造伦敦城最高建筑的新纪录。

打破纪录

尽管尚未完工，但是苍鹭大厦目前的高度已经超过在过去30年中独领风骚的老巨人、42号大厦(Tower 42)。该大厦的高度为183米。

这座即将在2011年落成的苍鹭大厦，楼高46层，有一家餐馆和一个顶楼观光酒吧，总高度将达到230米。

目前全英国最高的建筑位于东伦敦金丝雀码头的加拿大广场一号(One Canada Square)。它的高度为244米。

除此之外，伦敦城里还有两座大个子也在建设当中。其中主教门大厦(Bishopsgate Tower)在落成时的高度为288米，而夏德伦敦桥大厦的高度将为300米。

这两座大厦都将于2012年落成。

The photovoltaic wall on Camomile Street really caught my imagination now the sun is back with us. It catches and makes shadows beautifully. Reminds me of the south wall Jean Nouvel's Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris in some respects.

Reckon it's going to look stunning when it's all cleaned and finished.
