What a twist it would be if this tower got built and a bunch of 2000 footers in China didn't. Economic outlook here is somewhat rosy compared to the potential catastrophe brewing over there.

Agreed, as cool as some of those projects are I can't help but feel that China is in trouble in the near future for over-ambitious building.
I don't however, think the article I just posted was necessarily positive... it's all really confusing at this point so it's hard to tell.

This is looking more and more like Kelleher and Related are combining forces. The language even implies that Atlas had little intention to build the Spire. The $1 million loan is for upkeep of the property.

What this article seems to say is that we all got our hopes up waaaaaaay too soon. Nobody's getting paid off after all.
